TruVideo Decoder Playable in Windows Media Player

You can use WMP to either play TruVideo's file format, i.e. *.mpb files without audio, or avi files that have *.mpb file as video component and MP3 as audio format. The following plugins work with Windows 2000 and Windows 1998; DirectX 8, WMP 7 are needed; display needs to be set to 24 or 32 bits, not 16. 

To play video-only MPB streams (files of extension *.mpb), you must download the following executable: 
   TruVideo, Codec, v4.24.MPB

  Larry King Clip, 15 kbps, 7.5 fps, no sound (save to disk) 
  Elton John Music Video, 70 kbps, 15 fps, no sound (save to disk) 
  MPEG Clip -- Container, 10 kbps, 7.5 fps, no sound (save to disk) 
  "Here On Earth" Movie Trailer, 100 kbps, 24 fps, no sound (save to disk) 
  "Here On Earth" Movie Trailer, 300 kbps, 24 fps, no sound (save to disk) 


To play AVI files (files of extension *.avi), with TruVideo's video codec, and MP3 audio codec, you must download the following executable: 
  TruVideo, Codec, v4.24.AVI
